Prineville Music Theater Camp

Prineville Music Theater Camp is the only continuing musical theater program in Crook County and serves children from 7 to 17, who put on a new production for the whole town every summer.

Music Theater keeps up reading, memorization, and musical skills during the summer months, often for kids who have struggled to excel in these areas.

It teaches collaboration and cooperation to bring a production to birth and present it to an audience.  It creates a community which comes together to entertain the community.

It opens a new world of the arts to children who have lost most of the art curriculum due to budget cuts, and gives them an appreciation of the magic of theater.

It gives a community an opportunity to enjoy good music theater every summer and to see their kids thrive as they learn new skills and take pride in the fruit of their efforts.

Good Music Theater is fun for everyone, and a source of pride for Crook County.
