OUR MISSION
Lutheran Community Services Northwest partners with individuals, families and communities for health, justice and hope.
OUR IMPACT
Achieving Health and Wellness for Families
Our Tri-Cities Offices serve the youth of our community who have mental and behavioral health challenges. Our programs aim to empower youth and their families to utilize their strengths, while equipping them with new skills and providing necessary resources. We also train community members with the skills to help someone navigate a mental health crisis through our free Mental Health First Aid program.
Building Stronger Families and
Communities
Our 3 Rivers WISe (Wraparound with Intensive Services) Program is an intensive mental health program for youth and their families that focuses on improving wellness, safety and relationships within the family and community. Our program serves youth under 21, who are at risk of being removed from their homes because of behavioral and mental health needs.
Keeping Youth Safe, Supported and Loved
SWIFT (Stabilization and Wellness in Families Together) is an intensive, short-term program for youth and adolescents who are experiencing a mental health crisis and are at risk of hurting themselves or others. SWIFT diverts youth from hospitalization and allows them to seek the support they need while remaining at home and in the community.
Enhancing Opportunities for Support in School-Based Settings
School-based mental health services are offered to students within the Richland School District who may need extra support. Mental Health Clinicians are placed in high schools to ensure youth get access to, and support for any mental health related needs. Case Managers are also present to support the entire district with direct mental health crisis support, referrals to community mental health services, and to work closely with school staff and families/youth to ensure wellness and stability in our community.
