The Chocolate & Champagne Gala began in 1984 as a fundraiser for the Sexual Assault and Family Trauma (SAFeT) Response Center, the sole source of funding for this program. This black-tie gala now attracts 300+ guests and benefits all programs of LCSNW.
Lutheran Community Services Northwest partners with individuals, families, and communities for health, justice, and hope.
LCSNW is a unique trauma-focused nonprofit human-service agency dedicated to empowering and healing the children, individuals and families in crisis in our community. Since 1956, people who have struggled with life’s most overwhelming and traumatic challenges have found hope, resources, and strength to heal and become thriving, contributing members of our communities through LCSNW. We respect and serve people of all faiths, backgrounds, nationalities, cultures and sexualities.
With nearly a century of experience, recognized expertise, and a legacy of success and dedication, LCSNW serves more than 60,000 people each year across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Our programs are tailored to adapt and meet the specific needs of our community whenever and wherever they are needed, including behavioral health services, family and community support, child welfare programs, refugee and immigrant services, and crime victim services.
When often unimaginable crises threaten people’s lives and futures, LCSNW offers healing, help, and hope, walking side by side with those we serve as partners in their recovery. Every child, adult, and family deserves the opportunity to rise above their challenges and develop the self-sufficiency they need to be fully engaged in society—to the benefit of us all.
