Holding Hope 2023 - Youth Mental Health Benefit

Welcome to our celebration of HOPE. It is because of individuals like you that the families and youth in our community are able to receive the mental health support they need in the times when hope feels lost. When challenges feel overwhelming and obstacles are insurmountable, we gather together HOLDING HOPE for these youth and families until they are able to hold it for themselves again.

Our theme this year, "Chained" represent the internal struggles of many of the youth in our community, regardless of where they are in their journey. Many of the children and youth we support are struggling quietly in our community, some are sitting in the Juvenile Justice Center, and some are trying to find a trusted adult in our schools. Lutheran Community Services is purposefully in all these settings, walking alongside our children and youth to help break the chains of the labels and burdens that hold them back and to help them become the most beautiful and healthy versions of themselves.
